Leonardo Da Vinci wrote that the greatest organ is the eye. He pointed out that we are blessed with the gift of looking and dedicated the bulk of his life towards explaining and exploring what a person sees. His notes also explain how it is important to keep on looking. Scholars and art collectors dedicate a lot of time trying to understand what is vision. Whether you realize it or not, we all have visions we see a certain way. Perhaps you have visions that are very real, like someone or thing that really affected you. Maybe you see it only within your mind. You have a hard time explaining it. When people call me to decorate their walls, paint their dreams or family, they often talk light-heartedly yet often too are very serious about what they want. They often see or imagine in their own minds. My job is really to create visual images that can reflect these thoughts, visions and convey them for the future. If doctors focus on the health, and a lawyer focuses on law, you could say I focus on the vision or what is seen. Always remember that websites are made visually simple so they can be downloaded fast and not eat up space on your computer. The images of my art are very different close up and in person. I say this as it is very easy to overlook the fact that photos and reality are two seperate issues.

My personal story below is full of underlined 'links' to look at as well.

Thoughts Beyond Words (2x4 feet oil on canvas)

I was born 8.31.1969 in Edina, Minnesota USA. Supposedly, my parents had to go quickly as I was nearly born in their blue GTO. Soon thereafter they built a home behind Buck Hill in Burnsville, MN. which I remember very clearly. Later, in 1973 my parents moved my two sisters, myself (auburn colored hairmiddle child, only son, left-handed) and our dog Smokey (sorry no photo links of Smokey) to a road called Shady Ridge Road on an oak savanna people now call Miller's Woods (which was known then as "the woods"). So I grew up in a rural town in south central Minnesota, 60 miles west of Minneapolis/St. Paul called Hutchinson. It was founded by the famous Hutchinson Family of musicians. After moving there, I was swimming at an area lake at age 4. I swam out too far and nearly drowned. After a long struggle and seeing no one was swimming out to get me, I grew tired and realized I was doomed. After I had accepted my fate and realized it was over, a strange man with dark hair and olive colored skin came from what seemed from within the lake and pulled me into shore. He did not say a word. Then he relaxed on the beach for a moment under a tree, then he got up and simply walked away. Basically, I think I may be living what some call a Life after Near Death experience. But more importantly it was after this event that I really appreciated the simple fact that I was actually alive and became extremely intriqued about the basic world we live in. Colors and depth became so much more clear as to what it seemed before. The sky was such a brilliant blue. The trees were such a vibrant shimmering green. The depth of what I saw was so profound I decided to start drawing what I saw. By the time I entered elementary school , I knew I wanted to grow up as a visual artist, yet also a person with strong core values. Along my journey, I have seen some amazing sights and met a lot of very interesting people and even many famous artists

When commissioning a project, people might ask, "have you ever done anything like that?" or "can you do this?"

Try to understand that I have been making art since I was very young. So my answer is usually "yes" to both questions.

Also my customers tend to be the type that desire high standards. Craftmanship is important.

On my frontpage you see the five ways I produce art.

Individuals and families want art.

Business and Corporations need art.

I make original art and art for museums.

The last division is a mass media category.  I help others make graphics or make reproductions for my customers.
